Chemical Weapons in the Baltic Sea

After the end of the Second World War chemical and conventional weapons have been dumped into the Baltic Sea. Now, 70 years later the shells have eroded and release their toxic contents into the sea. Together with floating mines, false amber from white phosphorus and the largely unknown locations of the dumped bombs, fish are being poisoned, industrial projects like windmill parks or pipelines are complicated to secure.
